 Typical SAP solar gains report
This report, which is only produced for new dwellings, shows
how the solar gains through windows and rooflights are calculated.When walls
are added to the dwelling they can be given an absolute orientation (e.g. 'N')
or an orientation relative to the front of the dwelling ('F': front; 'L': left;
'R': right; 'B':back). If the second (recommended) option is used the actual
orientation of the wall is calculated using the 'Front faces' orientation in
the SAP Dimensions dialog; if this is changed (e.g. because the same house type
is being built in a different position) the orientation of all the walls of the
dwelling will automatically be recalculated.
