 Typical U-value calculations
This report (extract below) shows how the U-values of the
wall, floor and roof constructions used in the dwelling are calculated, with
account being taken of thermal bridging where applicable. Ground floor U-values
are calculated using the method in Part L/Part J Appendix C.
Once you have added a form of construction to the program's Elements of
Construction list you can use it again and again. If you want to add a form of
construction that is similar to one already entered, select it, use the 'Add
another' option to make a copy, then edit the copy.
